RURAL HEALTH CLINICS
The purpose of Rural Health Clinic (RHC) is to provide access and quality healthcare in undeserved rural areas all over the country through the use of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, social workers, clinical psychologists.

In order to become a certified RHC, the practice must be located in a:

  1. Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA);
  2. Medically Undeserved Area (MUA);
  3. Governor Designated Shortage Area.

RHCs are reimbursed on a cost-based payment method compared to regular pre-determined set fee schedule method that most other organizations follow. Cost-based reimbursement from Medicare & Medicaid programs may be considerably higher and can contribute significantly to your overall finance and increase your bottom line.

Our experts have extensive experience with Rural Health Clinics that can help you decide if RHC program is appropriate for your organization.

If you are certified RHC we can help you re-evaluate your rate and discover opportunities for increase. We can also ensure that your practice is in compliance with RHC regulations and requirements. Our RHC services include:
